The Town of Minturn is looking for an assortment of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers that may be interested in helping with events or in serving on committees.  All ages are welcome!

By no means do you have to commit to everything.  Your involvement can be as heavy or as light as you designate.  Prospective events requiring volunteers include:

  • Summer Minturn Markets
  • The Minturn Independence Day Celebration
  •  New Events
  • We also need volunteers to serve on different committees – call and ask for details

Call or stop-by the Minturn Town Center (upstairs) and ask for a list of specific opportunities or more details.   970.827.5645

Immediate Need - September 21, 2018

Volunteers aged 14+ are still needed for work on the Everkrisp Trail, which will link to existing trails in the area and connect Eagle Vail, Edwards, Avon, Minturn, and Vail along a single trail system.

The Town of Minturn, in conjunction with Adopt-A-Trail Eagle County, will be putting together a volunteer group for Friday afternoon, September 21st from 1-5pm. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Cindy Krieg at the Town of Minturn to sign up (events@minturn.org, or 970-827-5645, ext. 5).

We will be working from 1pm – 5pm and will be meeting at the Trail Head at the top of Eagle Drive in EagleVail (Whiskey Creek / Paulie's Plunge / Stone Creek / EagleVail Trail Head). If you can’t make that time, the Vail Valley Mountain Bike Association is still hosting weekly volunteer nights on the trail each Wednesday evening at 5pm (same meeting spot).

This trail system will eventually connect Basalt to Vail Pass, and your participation is vital to connecting these communities and expanding recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike!
